This is a fictional event from the Persian invasion of Egypt in the years prior to the more famous invasion of Greece. The Persians have gotten fed up with Egyptian revolts, so they have decided to make an example of the Egyptians by attacking a temple. They hope to install the Persian king as the Pharaoh of Egypt to put an end to the uprising. Unfortunately, the temple is dedicated to Anubis, so he may possibly have something to say about this. The Persians have greater numbers, but the Egyptians have the gods on their side. Historical setting and miniatures with just a touch of fantasy. n July of 1879, the Corps of Guides provided an escort to the newly established British Residency in Kabul. All was peaceful until several regiments of Afghan regulars came to the embassy demanding back pay. When their demands were not met, the Afghan soldiers stormed the embassy.
